GigTax is a client-side tax planning calculator. Here is what that means for your privacy:
- Your numbers stay in your browser. Everything you enter into the calculator is processed locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store your income, expenses, or platform details on any server.
- Unlock status is local. Whether you have unlocked the pro report is stored only in your browser's local storage on your device.
- Payments. If you buy the pro report, payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details; Stripe's own privacy policy applies to the checkout.
- No accounts, no tracking. There is no sign-up and no analytics that identifies you.
